Mormon pioneer. George Clark Rigby was born on Feb. 23, 1862 to William Fredrick and Mary Clark Rigby in Wellsville, Utah. He married Mary Caroline Clarke on Mar. 1, 1883, and homesteaded near Newton, Utah around 1890. He went on a mission to Great Britain during 1893-1895.
